Broken and behind, feels like
My heart will never heal.
Loneliness surrounds me,
And sadness is what I feel.
I thought that you would catch me,
If ever I did fall,
But when it came down to it,
You weren't there at all.
I don't know what it is,
Or if there's something that I lack,
But every time I turn around,
Another knife is in my back.
You said so many things,
And made me believe they were all true
But you just played with my emotions
All my pain is caused by you.
Now I sit here thinking
How you damaged me inside
It's so hard for me to trust now
From all the times you lied.
The pain that I am feeling,
Is all because of you,
You leave me broken and behind,
With all the things you do.
