The mistake

At first we where just friends,
then we became lovers.
thought I'd have you until the end,
i didn't want no other.
you had different feelings,
you said we couldn't be.
wanna explore other options,
why not explore me?
i didn't wanna hurt again,
but it was a chance i had to take.
and now I'm here crying,
all because of the mistake
