PUNK (tm)

by Künstliche Welten   Sep 1, 2004

So you're daring to be different
You say you're fighting the machine
You've got an A on your shirt for anarchy
And you don?t know what it means

How can you call yourself a rebel
When you're just part of their game?
You can stuff your revolution shit
To you Che?s just a cool name

Fashionable counterculture fad
It all seems so cool and new
There's nothing different here, my friend
MTV just changed its point of view

Your bondage pants and jewelry
Tell me, how much did you pay?
You think you can buy your way into this
But that's just not the case

Because your spikes and chains and makeup
They don't even go skin deep
Don't bother changing anything
If you can't change the way you think

[...yeah I know I've said I don't like rhyming poems - somehow it just worked this time. Peace.]

Damn i loved the poem...i love the whole meaning behind it of the hypocritical youth...I would defently like to rub this in the faces of a few well known hypocrites. Liberty, I don't know why you would say she's a hypocrit, she's speaking absolute truth in this poem...well written..damn good writer! perfect fitting rhymes...-5

I don't know what to say about this poem. One part of me wants to say its good and the other part wants me tell you it sucked. I personally think your a hipocrit. Enough said.
