My Sweet Mother ®

by Sarah   Sep 1, 2004

Though a child grows into a woman,
She still ahs a child inside.
She'll leave home, marry her man.
But that piece she can't seem to hide.
See your mother is genuine, gentle and pure.
Her tender words always in place.
Affection to her child is real, thats for sure.
Beauty is found on her sincere face.
Tears she's wiped from infancy on,
Love unconditional, truely as no other.
To say I love you and hug upon,
The love I have for MY SWEET MOTHER.

-This poem is ever more special to me as my mother has and is fighting breast cancer...get mammograms and ask for your medical report ladies, it could save your life!! Its your body, your right to know!
