How To Land A Husband

How To Land A Husband
By Mark Spencer

Have you ever felt used by a man?
Chances are, you probably were.
But I've some inside information,
That I think, its time to confer.

This doesn't apply to every man,
Though it does if you think he's hot.
For I doubt that you're the only one,
He gets that kind of thing a lot.

And the first thought that crosses his mind,
Isn't that you'd make a good wife.
He thinks of spending the night with you,
And then getting on with his life.

You may be looking for a partner,
While you dream of love and romance.
But the only thing he's dreaming of,
Is getting you out of your pants.

Do you think you're a person to him,
That he wants to get to know you?
Does he stare at your beautiful mind?
Come on girls, he just wants to screw!

If you think that's the way to win him,
Then you're barking up the wrong tree.
If you're good in bed, he'll stay awhile,
For as long as the sex is free.

If you start talking about marriage,
He'll tell you what you want to hear.
While he searches for greener pastures,
Then one day, he'll just disappear.

If you want a man you can marry,
Then there's a few things you should know.
Men will never trust or respect you,
If sex comes right after hello.

At first, men only see you as prey,
A trophy to hang on their wall.
A story to tell all of their friends,
A heart that means nothing at all.

If you're quick to give him what he wants,
Then that's all you will ever be.
You may wish to believe otherwise,
Though, in the end, you will agree.

You have to change the way he sees you,
You must be more to him than prey.
He has to want to know the person,
He has to be the kind to stay.

You're better than just a piece of tail,
A fact I hope you understand.
He has to know that you're a treasure,
Deserving of that golden band.

So remember how he perceives you,
And ladies, you may think he's sweet.
But his behavior may turn sour,
If you act like a piece of meat.

A man wants a woman he can trust,
Who's not quick to roll in the hay.
He seeks a treasure worth waiting for,
Who won't be someone else's prey.

So if you want to land a husband,
Someone with whom to share your life,
He must see that you are a treasure,
Who he'd be proud to call his wife.

But if that's not what you're looking for,
Then live however you prefer.
If you've ever felt used by a man,
Chances are, you probably were.

End.
