Life Without Your Clasp

by Broken   Sep 3, 2004

I woke up this morning
My first thought was you
Dreading to live this day
Cuz it suddenly turned blue

My mood was irritable
Caused by the pain inside
Its eating away my heart
Somehow this I manage to hide

Everywhere, signs of you
Taunting me as I went
Songs we called ours
Made the biggest dent

I feel so bruised
Lost and betrayed
"An act of love"
This choice you made

How can that be?
Why can't you see?
I'm still crying
Drowning in misery

There's no good here
At least, not for me
You're marking your future
Somewhere I cannot be

Everything's falling apart
Slipping through my grasp
This is so hard to do
Living life without your clasp
