Looking out my window
I see life at its greatest.
The old walking together,
The young living care freely.
I see dogs bounding after a thrown stick.
This is what life’s supposed to be.
Looking out my window
I see nature at its best.
I see tall trees tilting gracefully,
I see flowers housing bees.
The sun gives off a blur of colors as it sets.
This is what nature’s supposed to look like.
Looking out my window
I see myself.
I see my heart playing care freely.
I see my mind finding peace in old wisdom,
I see my body housing a joyous soul.
I see my life race by in a blur of colors.
Looking out my window,
I see the world look back at me.
