Chrome Horse

by Robert   Sep 3, 2004

Black gloves holding tight,
And a black road in sight.
Three wheels going down a road of black,
Fingers on the throttle never letting it slack.
The wind pounding my face,
And being surrounded by nature's grace.
As I look out my shield into the world ahead,
There is nothing inside that I dread.
For life is just one never ending ride,
With a feeling of freedom always by my side.
The mental stretches out to my hand,
And the three wheels take me from land to land.
Over hills and down valleys of this great land,
I take it all with a twist of my hand.
On a horse of chrome and steel,
I find this is the best thing to make my spirit heal.
Most of my friends I ride with here and there,
Knowing all that I talk to really do care.
No stuffy offices or political brown nosed twit,
Just one long snake of road to hit.
I close my eyes and there I go,
On my chopper riding away from my woe.

    Haha, are you a biker?
    Not my thing.
Make sure you wear a helmet so in case you get in an accident you don't damage that mind.
If it did, you may not be able to make poems such as this anymore.

It's needless to say, but I did like it.
