Cyber Me

by Kevin J   Sep 3, 2004

Am I who I say I am?
Or say what I'd like most to be?
If I'm not what you perceived
Would you still converse with me?

Are you sure you know my name?
Or just sure you can't be fooled?
To lie like that sure would be lame
But you said that my name was cool;)

Am I who I say I am?
Or am I just ashamed of me?
If someone lies to you "they're fakes"
Or is it that "they're just lonely"?

Are you weird or don't fit in
In search of love or just a friend?
If that's the case, it's not a sin
To give the rules a little bend

Am I who I say I am?
Or am I really five foot three..
Four hundred lbs and bald, no teeth?
It's all a possibility :)

Are you who you say you are?
Or have you stooped to be phony?
Can you drink or drive a car?
Why trust you, if you can't trust me?

I am who I say I am
I don't have a "Cyber Me"
Thats just a choice I chose to make
For chance "You!" might choose honesty

Behind the veil of cyberspace
We can change our age and race
And sex or post another's face
But in the end its all a waste

*I hate internet fakes...It's not necessary... just be youself;)*
