Bloodless Veins.

by Poppy   Sep 3, 2004

I hold on tightly to the night,
As the sun brings forth the light.
Death and destruction come in to sight,
And I run away with all my might.

This sinking feeling will not go,
As I watch all that blood flow,
Running away from the lies,
Running away as my soul dies.

Tortured souls cry out at night,
As I hide away from the light,
I hear them scream in pain,
As I hide in vain.

I am a hollow shell,
Lack feelings an emotion,
Bleeding away the hate,
Flowing in a river of sorrow.
