A true but sad story, in poem form pt 2.

by Sammie   Sep 4, 2004

Kind of like those loves that end in heartbreak, where your heart feels like
it's being ripped right out of your fragile chest.

You died as I watched, crushed by a semi,I cried as I had to watch.

I can still remember your last words to me before you got into the car.

You told me you loved me, but it was your time, I didn't know what you
meant so I just let it go and said goodbye, thinking I would see you at
school the very next day.

No one knows how badly I just want to have you back for just one day.

To show you just how much I love you still in every single way.

The sad thing is, I found out after you left, just how I felt, and just how much
I wanted you here with me, how much I would miss you until forever and a day.

I realized just a little too late that I loved you much more than just a friend,

But too bad, our fairytale had already come to an abrupt end.

This is a true story, my best friend was ripped away from me. When we were very young but I know he'll always be the one I'll always love. I've moved on as much as I could, because I know he would have wanted me to. You see he was everything anyone could ever want and more, and yet I never got to tell him just how I felt as I watched him be crushed. A warning, to all of those who love someone in your life.

If you love someone let him or her know…because they could be here today and gone tomorrow. You never know when their time will come, you can't just hope for the best.
You actually have to do something about your feelings, before it's too late.
You may be rejected but at least they know, believe me being rejected hurts a lot less than losing the one you love ending in he or she never knowing just how much you truly cared.

This is the second part of a true story, please comment, thank you.
