Hurting myself

I'm breaking up inside,
From everything that was just said,
It makes me want to cry,
It makes me want to fight back.

But i keep my mouth shut tight,
I don't say whats inside me,
I don't put up a fight,
i lock it up and put away the key,

Though i want to scream,
I want to breakaway,
I want to get out this steam,
There's so much i want to say.

Then i see you,
A person in front of me,
Hurting someone else isn't what i do,
So I'll leave you pain free

I'll soak up all the pain from this,
Even if i don't really deserve it,
Cause i cant stand to see someone else pissed,
So I'll put myself through it.
