My Metaphor

I'm a digger,I know how to dig myself a hole
Its climbing out of it I just don't know
Recently I have dug myself a real deep one
Fell in,looked up,cant even see the sun
I see people glance as I weep and cry
Then they just smile and walk on by
Ive tried to claw my way out as Ive done before
But I'm down too deep and thats for sure
Mind full of doubt,I'm almost out of hope
If anyone out there would just toss me a rope
Oh well what can I say
I'm the one who dug the whole anyway
I cant expect anyone to be there
For this is a world where most don't care
I'll just sit here in the dark all alone
