that was such a good poem but i agree with sara that it was heartbreaking! keep writing

That is terrible. Well i mean it is a good poem, but sexism, particularly from a parent, is a bad thing. Okay:
"I’m thinking about thinking
I’m dreaming about dreaming too"
and
"Wishes are like my hope
And hope has never been there"
those lines kick major butt.
"I’d like to see
If you could be
If you could try
To be me
With all this said
I wish I was dead"
that stanza was okay, but the lines were a bit too short for me to like the repetitive rhymes...however
"I cant be
Let me be
I can’t think
I can’t dream
I wish I could be myself"
i liked a lot because the myself at the end changed the whole thing from rhyming in a strange way to not rhyming at all, but sounding cool. Good poem!

oh sorry for commenting twice, but in that last stanza I cited, the first "cant" needs an apostrophe
