Look what the human race has done
We've turned this world
Into a crazy place
Where not a smile can appear
On even a child's face
The world has completely gone to hell
What kind of world are we living in
Where terrorists attack a school
Where there is no mercy shown towards children
Why has the world become so cruel?
And the terrorists find it funny
To shoot a child;
As he cry
Because his mother has just been shot
And he has to watch as she dies
Where no where is safe
Even inside your own home
Where children cannot be left alone
Because they may become
Another abuctee
So that their parents
Don't have to make their plea
"Please, bring my baby back
And bring her back alive
Please, show some mercy
And allow her to survive"
There's something wrong
In a world where
Children cannot walk the streets alone
And people have no time to reflect
There are so many problems
In this world
These thoughts they just neglect
And why are the only things
That we hear today
About teens in the news
Are their gang assults and murder trials
And how they drink to many booze?
Suicide rates are going up
And people wonder why
There's a murder happening right now
And someone's about to die
The world is completely
Filled with tragedy
And I wonder how long
It will take people to see
Children being shot at
And Man's inhumanity towards his fellow man
On their very own streets
It's all so sad and
I don't know why
What this world is coming to
But I hope that it's near its end
Because a life has no value
They'll just take it, pow
