If Tomorrow Never Comes

by Stef   Sep 5, 2004

If tomorrow never comes, I wouldn't be satisfied
I'd never have the chance to tell you all I lied
You'd never understand all those tears I never cried
And I'd never get to tell you that I tried...
I tried.

If tomorrow never comes, I'd be disappointed in today
Since I never told you what I'd thought of always
Despite the truth I hid inside, the words I didn't say
One thing I said was true, because I loved you anyway.

If tomorrow never comes, and today were the end
My broken heart would never have a chance to mend
You'd never read the letters I never wanted to send
And since I forget to tell you, you wouldn't be my friend.

If tomorrow never comes, I guess you'd never know
How much it had hurt me to just let it go
How much I needed you there to help me grow
But you'd never know...
You'll never know.
