Woke in your hallway

by Mild insomnia   Sep 6, 2004

I miss you so much,
I'm craving your touch,
Why'd you have to go,
And leave me in chicago.

So I booked a flight,
Got here last night,
You woke me at eight,
Surprised to see me in L.A.

So here I am, What happens now?
Been here since ten, and I've done my best to stay awake,
The whole time you've been out,
Woke up in your hallway.
I expected you to be home,
All alone, but expecting was a big mistake,
Now I feel so low,
Woke up in your hallway.

Can't stand the silence,
It's getting too tense,
I should really explain,
But there's nothing I can say.

You know why I'm here,
I miss you my dear,
I hate the gap between us,
Distance don't mix with love.

Woke up in your hallway,
Now I feel so low,
All alone, but expecting was a big mistake,
I expected you to be home,
Woke up in your hallway.
The whole time you've been out,
Been here since ten, and I've done my best to stay awake,
So here I am, What happens now?
