Leave it All to Fate

The day we got together
was a dream come true
it was like if i made a wish
and the person who granted it was you

we were together for months
and those months felt like years
it never occurred to me
that you would bring me tears

then during those months
i slowly pushed you away
by telling you what to do
and telling you what to say

and so you said goodbye
and i cried for days
until someone told me
that there are other ways

they told me there's no point
of bringing out these tears
because northing's going to happen
even if i cry for years

and then i began to wonder
that what if i wait
maybe I'll find another guy
I'll leave it all to fate
