Turn Around

by Robert   Sep 7, 2004

Turn around and justify what you see,
Turn around and tell me why you set your rage free.
Turn around and explain the pain I feel inside,
Turn around and tell me why I got this gash open wide.
Turn around and see the wound you inflicted on my skin,
Turn around and justify this damage to my sin.
Turn around and promise me once more,
Turn around and proclaim your love for me as you have done before.
Turn around and watch as I soak the blood off the floor,
Turn around and let me prove to you I want you no more.
Turn around and listen to me, this life is not fun,
Turn around and see me cock this gun.
Turn around so I can see into your eyes,
Turn around lover for it is not I but you who dies.

Okay so i am completely in love with the last line.. :D alsoi love how you start every line with turn around.. it really helps to reinforce that aspect of the poem :D

  • I loved it.
The flow was flawless and the emotion was deep.
    The rhyming didn't seem forced.
    Keep it up 5/5
