The Day Everything Changed

by *aLoNe In ThIs WoRlD*   Sep 7, 2004

You took your last breath
Your hand slipped away
Your eyes closed
And your final smile faded
The room got quiet
As the tears started to fall

The phone call came
Informing me of your passing
The phone fell to the floor
My eyes swollen my tears flowing

Walking into your house just isnt the same
Your chair rocks but your not in it
Your bed not made but your not there
The t.v. on but the controler not in your hand

Dinner lonely without you there
No one to ask when is desert
Grandma sits at the table without you beside her
And at the end of the day your not there to kiss her goodnight

Without you here life just isn't the same
But everyday I think of you and thats what gets me through

**Love you grandpa and miss you very much!**
