Wasted loneliness

by Shane   Sep 8, 2004

Somehow
today wasn't ours
when I see you again
I count the hours
Cause you know
when I'm without you it's a waste
even dreams
in which your lips I taste
It's not enough
I need that serenity
your beauty
it gives me identity
Your soul
that could warm any cold
your mind
into you I mold
Into one person
that's what I long
with you always
that's where I belong
Brought by fate
tied by a kiss
since I met you
I know of bliss
An angel
God sent to me
opened my eyes
helped me see
An eternal sign
that love is true
is how I feel
when I'm with you
When days seem like weeks
and never end
that is when
my heart can send
A message
in bottle or box
I long for a world
not ruled by clocks
But by love
no needed explanation
God's greatest gift
and your the personification
