To my best friend

Here is something to show you how much you mean to me,
for always allowing me to spread my wings and be free,

there were extereme hard times for us in the past,
now I look to see how all this time has gone by so fast,

I am growing into a woman that I hope you are proud of,
there is no one in my life that has shown me more love,

you have become the best friend I never even knew I had,
when I think of our relationship it makes me glad,

you were there for me through every heart ache,
the times I thought my heart would always break,

you have taught me more than you will ever know,
I can not wait for all that greatness in me to show,

thank you for always reminding me that things in life always get better,
