A World To Ourselves

by Robert   Sep 8, 2004

Tonight as my eyes shut,
I will shuffle of this rut.
Tonight when my body falls in a state of grace,
I will then see your face.
One I have never seen with my naked eye,
and to this day I still ask why.
You will invite me in as more then a friend,
and I will sleep hoping this will not end.
You will show me visions of delight,
and awake I will hunger for your sight.
What a world you have cast me into this,
for you have captured me with one kiss.
I feel you around me but know your not there,
in the morning I awake and just stare.
I lived a life just in my dream,
hoping that it is not a haunting scheme.
Maybe some day I shall see your face,
and then I will be in heave when I am within your grace.
