Have You

by Robert   Sep 8, 2004

Have you felt hopeless, and lost
giving up everything at any cost.
Have you ever put one thing in front,
and prepared your self for a hunt.
Have you started a journey without a path,
Without doing your math.
Have you given up everything you felt dear,
to finally crush all you fear.
Ask, for I am there,
And I know no one really cares.
While you all consider life to be a thrill,
I shall close it's final deal.
If it be that it may cause my end,
Then it shall be fine with me my friend.
My feet hurt, my spirit needs a rest,
but nothing will stop me from passing this test.
Whatever curve ball life shall throw,
I will be there for all I can show.
When I grow old and see the people around me,
I hope to God they are proud of the man I strive to be.
