13 Years and Dead

by Alison   Sep 8, 2004

There once was a young girl,
Who grew up in a terrible world,
Her parents did not want her,
Her siblings did not care.
Her friends at school didn't know it all,
Even her best friend didn't know about how low she use to fall.
She use to lock her self in her room,
And cry for hours.
She use 2 wonder why this was her doom,
What had she ever done to the world,
To give it the right to treat her this way?
This was her life,
She would cry,
Every morning and night,
Every minute of everyday.
For 13 years she put up with all this sh*t,
Then one day she just gave up on it,
She got out the pills,
And a glass of water.
Ate a whole lot,
And slowly fell ill.
In Intensive care for 5 months,
With out a single visitor.
5 months not saying a word,
Until she feels a presence walk through the door.
She does not open her eyes,
But she knows what she heard.
It was a boy,
A boy she new,
The boy she loved.
He told her everything,
From the times when his heart skipped a beat,
When he heard her name,
To when he heard she had committed suicide,
He had prayed so many times that it was just a prank,
An evil game.
He then started to cry over her bed side,
It was then that she realized,
Last night,
She had died.

How that little girl could have taken her own life,
I will never understand nor see,
Oh wait,
I know how she took her own life,
I know,
Because,
That little girl,
Was me.
