My last moment with you.

by Poppy   Sep 8, 2004

I cry away from your mocking laugh,
The tears fall,
I’m in a draft,
So cold, so alone.
It hurts so much!

The suffering builds,
Hurting me more,
I can’t stop the crying,
Or the lying.

My body aches,
I can no longer walk,
I’m trying to run,
But I can’t.

Your coming closer,
Not far behind,
Your hand grabs my neck,
And cuts of the air.

You smother me,
And punch me,
I can’t breath,
I cannot think.

The pain is too much,
Please god!
Make it end,
Stop this soon.

Let me go!
Your hand glides,
Down my neck,
Finds my arm,
You break it.

I scream out,
You hit me,
Knock me to the floor,
And stab me.

I lay dying,
In cold blood,
No reason was there,
To take such a young life.
Such an innocent child.
