A Souldier's Mission

by Amanda   Sep 9, 2004

An American soldier's mission
is to conserve and save our land
they fight and battle
and even die
no matter what they lend their hand.

Bloody wars, and stained memories
of loved ones being lost
for fighting for our country, and even other's like the Holocaust.

Limbs shattered, hearts of many
sight being taken away
but soldiers, being who they are
will do this everyday

Fight for our country
for ones they don't know
for the ones they know as well
fighting for the rights of others
keeping America safe from hell

Take a minute, out of your day
and pray for the ones that prayed for you
Give recognition, thank you for saving, my country and even me
I think more would also do.

Think, if America were without soldier's
where would we be today
just clasp your hands, kneel down
and please just simply Pray!

A single nation could be shattered
it wouldn't be here, without our Army
From others wanting to hurt our land
our land is what they're harming

While you are out having fun
soldiers are being killed
Remember to pray, and always say thank you
so the Soldier's duty shall be fulfilled.

I worked hard on this poem, and I would like to know what you think so Please take a couple seconds if you could and comment on my poem, and remember to pray for our soldiers! Thanks

but i liked this poem, my dad is a marine and luckily he didnt have to fight in iraq but it definetly made me appriciate our soldiers more. people do forget what our soldiers are doing over there, and its good to get a reminder
