Poisoned

by Liberty Caden   Sep 9, 2004

Mind is getting foggy,
I can barely see,
All my problems left behind,
As if I were care free.

All from this drink called poison,
Even though it makes me sick,
My hands begin to tremble,
As I take another sip.

One shot after another,
My blood begins to thin.
A shiver goes down my spine,
Goosebumps appear on my skin.

I've become a chronic,
I think about you everyday.
Consciousness is eroding,
My mind and logic you took away.

As much as I want to,
I can't drink you anymore.
Cuz my mind is somewhere out there,
Passed out on the floor.
