True lies

Scream to the night,
theres no one there

Embrace the darkness,
why should you care

Backed into a corner,
stuck in a rut

Accept your fate,
No whys or buts

Sacrifice hope,
Lay down and die

It was meant to be you,
Just dont ask why

Revert to old ways,
In your moonlit sorrow

Embellish the truth,
With dreams of tomorrow

Ignore your reality,
Stand in your place

Fake your ok,
With a smile on your face.
