Sweet lost Memory

by Amanda Sloan   Sep 10, 2004

To my sweet love memory,
If you ever are lost, please could you be lost in my memory.
Because in it everything will stay the same
And you will be perpetually safe
Your face will never age, and your heart will never change
At least in my memory you could stay you, and through me I could see you
I could close my eyes and watch you in fifty different scenes
Make you everything you want to be
In my mind you would forever stay alive
You wouldn't have to hurt or strive
My heart would fully comply
And live off of this nostalgia alone
If you were ever lost to me i pray that you could find a home in my memory.
You could take root and stay evermore
Nevertheless, from time to time i wish I could lose every thought of you, so that i wouldn't crave these aged memories
Sadly my heart could not let this holding piece depart
Consequently I scrutinize every detail of our love story over and again in my mind, because the rest of this fable has not yet been foretold, when it has i can stop this draining disease while i continue in my sweet lost memory.
