Hidden Love

by Ian Robert   Sep 10, 2004

Vengeance in the mind of a blue-eyed girl,
Lost within the chapters of romance.

So many secrets,
Yet so many lies.

Holding onto the little truth that survived,
Hope that the next day will have a sun in the sky,
And the clouds will fade into tears,
From the highest point of realism.

Like the blood tricklets that fall into the distilled water,
As the wine glass crashes to the floor,
Forcing my heart to sink into the plagued water.
