Heaven's Prayer

by Richard Bottary   Sep 11, 2004

I pray to heaven up above
Bless thy soul eternal love.
Your hand I take by my side
Together we spread our wings so wide.

Shall my wrongs turn to right
My Lord I hold thy soul in sight.
Our hearts shall hold no more fears
Our eyes shall shed no more tears.

Even in the darkest night
Stars and angels still shine bright.
They shall guide our righteous path
And shield us from the Devil's wrath.

Within thy hands I hold your heart
Forever kept and dare not part.
Our souls shall meet at Heaven's Gate
For God himself writes our fate.
