She's Gone Now

by Hannah   Sep 11, 2004

She was on her way to school
Driving her new red car
She thought it was so cool
But she didn't get to far

She grabbed her coffee cup
Going around a curb
Her little brother did not know
She'd never speak another word

She's gone now
Though in a better place
She's gone now
We can no longer see her face

The waiting room filled with tears
Filled with Silent prayers
Filled with many fears
Filled with memories from over the Years

Her little brother now laying in a Hospital Bed
Never to forget
The last thing she had said

She's gone now
Though in a better place
She's gone now
We can no longer see her face

Her parents broken hearted
Devestated she had departed

Her older brother full of fear
Wondering how it was like here

Other family filled with grief
There was simply no relief

Her friends feel alone
Even in the warmth of their home
They can't believe she's gone

She was only sixteen
Had her whole life ahead
Only sixteen
How could she be dead?

But
She's gone now
Though in a better place
She's gone now
We can no longer see her face
