Unchanged love

by strawberry18   Sep 12, 2004

Days, months and years have passed
Since you have been in my arms
I have forgotten the felt of your touch
For one more time, I long to touch

Uncountable men I have had in my life
After you, my loneliness had made me blind
I swear I have moved on
From one man to the other, I would seek for joy

But once every month I would go find you
Just to see if you are well and fine
I would watch you in the corner of the room
Knowing that you are having a great time

Now I ask for nothing more than your smile
I’ve grew stronger since we first met
You were my first love I admit
But I’ve come to accept the different worlds we are in..

For Alex, I dedicate this poem, my first and true love. No matter what, I'll always love you.
