Hearts weight

by Semaran   Sep 12, 2004

Your hands were never strong enough to hold something as fragile as my heart,
It was my fault that i could not see yours,
I idolized you and it was so unfair of me to do so.

Your hands were never strong enough to hold something as precious as my heart,
Now i wish i had known just a little sooner,
I could not see that your hands were shaking with the weight.

Your hands were never strong enough to hold something as heavy as my heart,
From the moment i knew love. It was a burden upon you,
I told myself that you actually wanted this gift.

Your hands were never strong enough to hold something as open as my heart,
It was not the kind of love you needed,
I am the fool who tossed aside my own heart and now it is broken...
