Misunderstandment!

by Jennifer Fox or Jackson   Sep 12, 2004

I tell you I am not lieing
when I say I didn't do what you thought
I didn't give you that dirty look
yet you still say it is my fault.

I wouldn't ever lie to you
because what I say is true
I wasn't doing what you said I did
I wish you would believe in me too.

It really hurts knowing
that you can't believe what I say
because you are my best friend
and I wouldn't lie to you in anyway.

It makes me cry
when you don't want to try to sort things through
because I wouldn't know what to do
if I were to ever lose you.

The look I had
wasn't even meant for you
yet when I tell you this
you say it was too.

I tell you I was mad at someone else
yet you say I was mad at you
but for what reason would I have
to be mad at you too?

I don't want to fight
it would just tare me apart
knowing that it was a misunderstandment
was wrong from the start.

I am sorry anyways
for what you may think I've done
I truly don't want this little mistake
to ruin our friendship and our days of fun.

I wish you would believe me
because I am telling you that I would not lie
not to you, as my best friend
I wish you really would understand why.

Please don't be angry
over something that wasn't meant to be
because that look wasn't meant for you
I wish the truth is what you would believe.

(Cara I would never lie to you and I wish you would believe it. We have come to far to ruin a friendship over something that was never meant to be. You are my best friend and without you I have nothing. I am sorry for everything and I wish you would understand why. I wouldn't ever lie to you and I wish you would believe me whe I say that! Please Cara don't give up on me after being friends for almost 6 yrs! I wouldn't know what to do without you!)
