My Own Room

by Katie McCullick   Sep 12, 2004

As you can see I wrote this when I was 13.

I need my own room,
My life would be much better.
Sisters make it all a gloom,
I wish a monster would get her.

They say you sow what you reap,
Or you reap what you sow.
I never get any sleep.
This gardens more than just one row.

I would feel very grown,
since I am thirteen.
If I had a room of my own,
It would be a wonderful scene.

Would you please listen,
I feel as if in a tomb.
Take my life from this prison.
I need my own room.

That was a really cute poem. I can totally relate. I used to have to share my room with my little sister, and I hated it. You made me laugh. Keep it up!
