So Long

by Katie McCullick   Sep 12, 2004

Good night sweetheart,
This is our last goodbye.
Tomorrow I will part,
Without a sniff or sigh.

You have kept me trapt,
inside this cold dark hole.
My sorrow has been capped,
inside this bottle of soul.

You've made me go crazy,
I couldn't hear the angels hark.
You made the path hazy,
but now I'm not afraid of the dark.

You tried to pass for me,
but I have changed that.
You they will never see,
your my knew door mat.

I'm not like that girl anymore,
that side of me is gone.
I've opened up a brand new door.
Goodbye, Katie, so long.
