Witness

by Robert   Sep 12, 2004

My blood runs cold with every image of you,
You stole my life and did what you wanted to do.
With out feeling you laid my kind asunder,
And ran over our bodies like storms if thunder.
You bore no mercy when you kicked us in the head with your heel,
And then gave us a small plot of land saying this was your best deal.
You gave us rotten meat and watched us die one by one,
And then took our woman and bore a half-breed son.
You have no passion, no pride in what you take,
You just ran our lifeless bodies into a lake.
What hate burns in your white skin that give you right,
And will you continue to kill us until we cannot fight.
Our stories gone like the winds of time,
And it is only us that bare witness to your Crime.
Listen well you have taken we all hold dear,
But tonight as you sleep know it is we you fear.
