The Curse of the Ancients:The Curse

by МÅťťђĕш Яĕĩŋĕßĕřg   Sep 13, 2004

His greed left him; the curse of the egg was gone.
Unknown to him, in the plan he was just a pawn.
For the one who would collect both halves and complete the curse
Would release much more than creatures, greed was made worse.
The battle went where the egg would go, destroying all of man
Good thing for the traveler his boat was second rate flam.
So freed from the age old curse, he looked for some supplies.
Three days without food would make one hunger even for some flies
Making a fire to light his torch, he looked for palatable roots.
Other food he found as well, like grassy stems and shoots.
These he placed into his boat as he pushed off and away
Back to the open waters as night took place of day.
In the boat with patched up sides, he continued on the sea
Back toward the place he held dear, back where he should be.

Hey dude...I figured instead of leaving sepereate comments on each pt of this story I'd just read the whole thing leave one comment and a trail of votes:p

You did an awesome job. You have a good imagination. I love story telling poems. You totally held my attention the whole read. I like how you stuck to the poems structure and rhyme scheme and kept to the forward motion of the story...that's not easy. I know this took alot of thought and time, but it was totally worth it in my eyes. I'm impressed. You have alot of talent;)

btw.. after going in the first cave I would have been out..screw that second cave:p
