Change

by Kristyn   Sep 13, 2004

She looks in the mirror
And hates what she sees
Short blonde hair
On a girl of 5'3"
Blue eyes that cry
For no reason at all
Need someone to lean on
So she doesn't fall
Can't stand alone
She wants to stand out
Being in the spotlight
Is what her life's about
But now everyone's tired
They hate this charade
They tell her to grow up
To act her real age
She wants to change
To lose the mask
She wants her friends back
But it's no easy task
This she knows
And she's willing to fight
To sacrifice anything
So everything will be alright
I am this girl
And I must say
It's time for a change
And it starts today
