and that i was always yours

but why did you give me
cuts, bruises, and sores.

so i reached for the gun you'd hid
underneath the bed

i heard you fall asleep
as i cocked the gun i cried

you heard a big old BOOM!!!!
as you see me on the bed
you thought it was a dream
until you saw the blood rush from my head.

white sheets turned red
as you called 911 and said
" my girl committed suicide"
as you screamed at the phone and started to cry.

hours later you found out
i never made it through the night

as you wiped the tears from your eyes
a letter came in sight

"Cody,
