Yes, I Cut

by Hannah   Sep 13, 2004

Year by year
We shed a new tear
Gain a new fear

We know deep within that some things just can't mend

Is it that hard for people to realize that they shouldn't criticize?

Every night when I'm home
All by myself all alone
One by one tears stain my pillow
As I weep under the willow

Yes, everyone knows I cut
They act like they care
But I know they don't
They're the ones who brought on The pain
The ones who laughed at me Because they saw me dancing in The rain

My heart holds many things captive
Not just the death of my one Relative

Yes, you know I cut
And yes it has gotten me in a rut
But everyone's not perfect
Right?
So think of me as you go to sleep Every night
You never know I might need a Friend
So that I don't make tonight the Very end.

Vote/Comment whatever works for you..thanks a bunch!

Cutting is misunderstood. Only we know why we do it. Beautiful poem expresses such. I love it.

Hmmm actually i think people try to deny the fact that we cut... they see the fading scars and they make some comment... but a simple half hearted cover is enough to draw their minds from it... i dont think they really want to beleive it happens... well that is what i have found.
    good work
