I can't complain

by Molly Elizabeth   Sep 13, 2004

I can't complain
what we had was good.
I guess it just hurts.
You left sooner then you should.

It was love,
I know this to be true.
And others knew in the way I looked at you.
I guess I still do...
but now you can't look me in the eyes to see.

It's okay I guess, I'll be alright.
Just let me cry my eyes out tonight. You don't understand why I care. But when you said I love you, I assumed you'd always be there.

I know this was a lie.
It was just a game to you.
I tried to get you to stay, but
all the things you said about love weren't true.

I'll always wonder
what you'd do.
If we had done things differently
cuz I really want to be with you.

I love you but It's killing me... If only you could see... how bad it's hurting me!
