Dear God

by David Munoz   Sep 14, 2004

Dear God,

Life is hard
But life is good
Why can't I understand it
The way I think I should

Why can't my life be perfect
Why don't you reveal all
If all my future is known to you
Why don't you shield me from the fall

Why can't I change my destiny
Why don't you listen to me
If you really do answer prayers
Whys life not what I want it to be

Why can't I pick the way I look
Why don't you fix what you missed
If you are a loving God
Why do I look like this

Why can't I choose the one for me
Why don't you offer who I think is best
If its true you can do anything
Why did you give me all the rest

Why can't I control my life
Why don't you give what I demand
If you don't want to do your job
Why don't I take it off your hands

Poetic Girl - Its part of the desperation of the person writing the letter to god - it just expresses his frustrations with his life and the fact that he believes it is God refusing to make everything better for him - anyways David that is my interpretation feel free to let me know if i am WAY off k?
