Dear Child

This God's Answer from Dear God

Dear Child,

I am sorry you are disappointed in my work
And yes I truly am
But I'm going to tell my reasons to you
So try to understand

I'm sorry your life can't be perfect
Adam ruined it for you all
But never fear for I am here
To catch you when you fall

I'm sorry you can't change your destiny
But you aren't God like me
Just to prove that Satan lied to you
About the apple you took from the tree

I'm sorry you don't like the way you look
But there is nothing more perfect than this
You were created beautiful to me
Even though you think I missed

I'm sorry you don't like the mate I choose
But you'll see its for the best
Because you'll soon find out that the one I picked
Is ten times better than the rest

I'm sorry you can't control your life
Just know that its in good hands
And honestly you can have my job
Good luck with all the demands

Oh yep loved this - perfect second part to Dear God - i think you write so well, this poem is very unique actually the pair of them are, possibly two of the most original topics of poetry i have read on this site.
Another amazing piece you can add to your list David
