A forest in an eye, broken Peace Bushed on Aside

A forest in an eye, broken soul, afraid of glue

Every one looks at awe at eyes of green and blue,
But there is more to beauty than simply color,
The depth behind, the soul refined,
The soul you see the... Gaze received,

The eyes I love hold a forest restrained,
Of rich browns and green, and depth between,
A place where peace once rained
where freedom was found and walks began,
but there's something there, something more,
somethings damaged the forests eye,
somethings shattered you deep inside,

This once pure forest now streaked in darkness,
Of pain and fear of a damaged heart,

a broken glass, a crystal vase,
Shattered dropped , left without care,
People tip toe on by, afraid you'll cut them clean,
Slowing ever so just to look and see,
A Shattered heart, with broken soul,
A Lost little girl trapped, held up within,

But then there is me,
I wish I could show you the man I am,
But will you let me in, can you trust again,
Tread beneath the soles of men, ground to dust,
To often left high on a shelf, unstudied no trust,
But am I am different, can't you see,

Can you look inside of me,
see the gentle soul within,
can you see that you come before me,
can you see id never hurt thee,
but can you trust another man,
broken shattered left on the ground,

Others walk away not wanting to try,
But I'll kneel by your side,
You may cut my hands, you may tear my heart,
But I will not leave you broken, shattered, unglued
So I'll take my time, I'll work with care,
shard, by shard, rebuilt, anew,

One day ill finish and you'll be whole,
One day the forest bonds shall break,
And again a moving soul will wake
Where fears are gone, and love moves on,
you'll still have cracks, you still may leak,
but that's why I'm there, with this tube of glue,
Working with care, with a shattered heart,

A forest in an eye, a broken peace brushed on aside,
A forest in an eye?? a soul for which I strive.
