Trade Off

As she sits on her bed
all alone
she starts to think
of what she had done

she had taken the bait
but this was not how it was suppose to be
she thought it would be better
if the future she could only see

she thinks of the boy she left
the one she really loved
but she was fooled by another
he made her believe

but he just used her and left
now she has nothing
but a broken heart
what she thought was love was nothing but a fling

she begged her true love to take her back
but he coudnt deal with the pain
he thought her loved was in lack

now she cries everyday
knowing what she had given up
she let her true love get away
the life she had so foolishly given up
