Battle Within

by Allen   Sep 15, 2004

I am the battle field
Of my soul and heart
Despite my believe
My sins I can not part

Whenever I fall
"Never again" I'd swore
But every single day
I lose another war

My conscience tore
Between purity and lust
My decision spins
Around lies and just

No matter how many defeats
My defense will not drop
My soul will carry on fighting
Until my heart's corruption stop

Great poem- it definetely portrays someone (maybe you, if this is factual) going through a lot of trouble with deciding on love or the right thing to do. I loved it, well done!
