The sorrow that surrounded you was mine,
I hurt you when I loved you, this is why you cried
You believed my spoken promises,
Then you died inside
You wept with those who weep,
You wept an ocean tide.
I’m lost in wonder at your love,
I can’t believe its true,
Precious and forgiving is my name for you
You broke the chains of my disgrace
Because of your unfailing love,
It’s through your grace that I can bring,
All of me to you again
Nothing from you will i keep,
My lesson has been learnt
Been to close to loosing you
My fingers have been burnt
And though your soul was overwhelmed by pain
You hold me close to love again.
Believing words of time you bring
To sing below your caring wing.
A second chance a second time,
For this little heart of mine,
One day I will show you,
One day you will know
How much I really do love you.
